Production Performance Intelligence
Industrial experience. New insight.
Processing more data does not make AI useful on its own. In industry, it has to help us understand what is happening in production.
Production teams already know their equipment, processes and day-to-day trade-offs. AI does not replace that expertise. It can help uncover connections, highlight changes and prepare better decisions.
PPI brings that experience together with a structured view of the data. It connects information about equipment, processes, quality, materials and orders, turning fragmented or conflicting signals into a shared basis for decisions that can be traced back to the evidence.
This is not about adding another software layer. It is about finding where value is lost, understanding which factors matter and identifying the next action worth testing.
Value across production.
No single measurement tells the whole story. Improvement opportunities emerge from the way operating conditions, materials, recipes, shifts, quality and orders interact. PPI looks at these factors together.
- Spot change sooner Put changes and recurring patterns in context, understand sources of loss and ask better questions earlier.
- Find opportunities Make the relevant connections, improvement opportunities and possible causes easier to see.
- Plan what comes next Explore capacity limits and potential knock-on bottlenecks, so proposed changes can be assessed on a sounder basis.
This helps teams see whether performance can be recovered with existing equipment and processes, which action to test first and where the system itself becomes the constraint. It turns a hunch into a prioritised question that can be tested.

Expertise stays at the centre. PPI widens the view.
PPI is being developed to help production leaders, specialists and operators make sense of complex situations.
AI does not replace expertise or accountability. People provide context, assess the evidence and decide what to do.
PPI is designed to show its workings, not deliver black-box verdicts. Findings are tied to the data, time period, assumptions and limitations behind them, along with an indication of how certain they are.
The people who run the plant remain responsible for the technical assessment. PPI brings related evidence together, highlights alternatives and helps production, engineering and management work from the same picture. It does not make automatic changes to equipment.
